Conditions Dr. Rajneesh treats

Neurological conditions and chronic pain, explained in plain language. If your condition is not listed here, the office can tell you whether an evaluation would be appropriate.

Headache & Facial Pain

Recurring head pain is rarely “just a headache”. The type matters, because the treatment differs.

Chronic migraine

Migraine occurring on 15 or more days a month. Often treatable with preventive medication or Botox where clinical criteria are met.

Episodic migraine

Attacks with light or sound sensitivity, nausea and one-sided throbbing pain that disrupt normal activity.

Cluster headache

Severe one-sided attacks around the eye, occurring in bouts. A distinct condition requiring distinct treatment.

Occipital neuralgia

Sharp, shooting pain from the base of the skull upward, arising from irritation of the occipital nerves.

Spine, Back & Neck Pain

Where spinal pain involves a nerve, it needs a neurological assessment as much as a structural one.

Chronic low back pain

Back pain persisting beyond three months, or returning repeatedly despite treatment.

Chronic neck pain

Persistent neck pain, often with stiffness, headache or pain referred into the shoulder and arm.

Sciatica

Pain travelling from the lower back into the buttock and down the leg, caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve root.

Cervical & lumbar radiculopathy

A pinched or inflamed nerve root in the neck or lower back, producing pain, numbness or weakness along the nerve’s path.

Facet joint pain

Pain from the small joints of the spine, typically felt as localised ache and stiffness that worsens with movement.

Arthritis-related spine pain

Degenerative joint change in the spine contributing to ongoing pain and reduced movement.

Nerve & Neuropathic Pain

Pain generated by the nervous system itself, rather than by injury to tissue.

Peripheral neuropathy

Burning, tingling or numbness — usually starting in the feet or hands — caused by damage to the peripheral nerves.

Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)

Disproportionate, persistent pain in a limb after injury, often with changes in skin colour, temperature or swelling.

Carpal tunnel syndrome

Compression of the median nerve at the wrist, causing numbness, tingling and night-time hand pain.

Neuropathic pain of unclear cause

Nerve-type pain that has not yet been explained, where a structured neurological work-up is warranted.

Widespread & Complex Pain

Conditions where pain is not confined to one site and where a single-specialty approach often stalls.

Fibromyalgia

Widespread musculoskeletal pain with fatigue and sleep disturbance, requiring a combined management approach.

Chronic joint pain

Ongoing shoulder, knee or hip pain contributing to a wider chronic pain picture.

Second opinions

Cases where the diagnosis remains uncertain, or where previous treatment has not produced results.
